Mission

With every living system in decline, we are facing the biggest environmental crisis of the planet’s history. Social inequalities are increasing. Every facet of society must transition to thrive within the planet’s limits and social foundations. Business has the ability to be a part of the solutions and move the world to a more sustainable society. 

It’s often women who do this work, we are the decision makers of our families, communities, we take care of each other. Because of societal barriers we often do not live up to our full potential as leaders. It’s not a matter of whether or not we have the resources or technology to transition to a sustainable world. It’s whether we have enough leaders in time.

Values

  • Society’s challenges cannot be solved by government, experts and non-profit organizations alone. Business must work towards reduced levels of poverty, a regenerative environment, resilient communities and increased high-quality employment with purpose.

  • We can harness the power of business with profits and growth as a means to make positive impact for employees, communities, the environment and all stakeholders. We envision a world that uses business as a force for good.

  • Change will happen from leaders who are purpose-driven and continually improve to be the best version of themselves while aligning with the business’ purpose.

  • We will not change the world by working more, but by working from our strengths and creating strong boundaries. We design our business around our lifestyle and life that we most desire that honours work, play and rest.

  • We close the gender gap by empowering women to benefit financially from their businesses and through our own business practices.

  • We believe in contributing to dismantling systemic racism, white supremacy and the patriarchy and we believe in business contributing to decolonization and reconciliation. 

  • We affirm the lives of Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, queer and trans folks, disabled folks, undocumented folks, folks with records, and women. We cultivate a diverse, equitable and inclusive space in our community.

  • We use business as a voice for change and we influence others to create transformation through commerce.
